HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced class 1 Driver to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. The Truck Driver must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to operate a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Drive a truck to transport goods and materials.
• Maintain a logbook of hours and miles driven.
• Inspect truck before and after trips.
• Secure cargo for transport.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded safely.
• Communicate with dispatch team.

Must have 2 YEARS experience on Class 1, and fridge work would be a benefit.
